Kure It GalaBrown & Charbonneau, LLP partners Gregory G. Brown, Michele M. Charbonneau, and Mark M. Higuchi had the privileged of attending the Kure It Gala 2019. Brown & Charbonneau, LLP along with many others, had the opportunity to help raise over $150,000 that evening. These funds will be donated towards Kure It’s funding of various types of cancer research, such as Kidney Cancer, Lung Cancer, Pediatric Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma, Prostate Cancer, Immunotherapy in Melanoma, Head & Neck Cancers, Genetic Sequencing in Young Adult & Adolescent Cancers, Pediatric Neuroblastoma and more.

About Kure It

Kure It foundation was founded in 2007 to hep eliminate the deficit of cancer research funding for Kidney and other underfunded cancers. How it was Founded

In 1998, Barry Hoeven, founder of Westport Properties, was diagnosed with kidney cancer. As Barry battled this disease, he recognized the lack of funding for research to cure kidney and other underfunded cancers. To help increase the funding available, he founded the non-profit Kure It Cancer Research. Kure It’s mission is be the leader in granting funds to scientists researching underfunded cancers. Researchers receiving Kure It funds use this “seed money” to explore innovative research projects at top Comprehensive Cancer Centers.Kure It Gala
